Chandigarh: A sudden spell of intense weather swept through Chandigarh on Thursday night, as the city witnessed light rain, thunderstorm and hailstorm. The rain began 8.35 pm and continued late into the night.
The storm brought a dramatic shift in weather, with strong winds rattling windows and hailstones pelting rooftops in several parts of the city. Commuters faced challenges due to reduced visibility and slippery roads.
According to the local weather department, Chandigarh can expect light rain over the next two days as well. Residents have been advised by the weather department to take necessary precautions and stay updated with official forecasts.
