As monsoon fury continues to lash the Konkan region, a fresh and unofficial extremely heavy rain alert has been issued for the Western Ghats stretch between Mumbai and Pune, effective from July 25 to 27, 2025. The situation is even more concerning in Raigad and Ratnagiri, which are under a red alert for the next two days, indicating a very high risk of extreme weather.
