Pune, November 25, 2025: The Pune City Traffic Branch has announced temporary traffic restrictions from November 26 to 28, 2025, in view of the annual Manjarai Devi Yatra in Manjari Budruk. Heavy crowding of vehicles and devotees is expected between K.K. Ghule School and the Manjari crematorium, prompting special traffic arrangements.
According to officials, heavy and large vehicles—including tempos, mixers, dumpers, buses, water tankers and Eicher tempos—will be prohibited from entering this route between 3 pm and 12 midnight during the three-day period. The decision has been taken to ensure smooth movement for pilgrims and avoid congestion in the area.
Vehicles coming from Pune have been advised to take the Hadapsar–Mundhwa stretch and proceed via Ahilyanagar Road to their destination. Similarly, vehicles arriving via Solapur Road should use the Theur Phata–Wagholi route and then continue through Ahilyanagar Road.
Traffic police have appealed to motorists to cooperate and follow the instructions issued by on-ground personnel. Authorities emphasised that public support is crucial for managing traffic efficiently during the yatra.
