The Western Railway has announced special superfast trains between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad ahead of the T20 World Cup India 2026 to accommodate increased travel demand. Two trains each day are scheduled for Saturday night and Sunday morning, departing from Mumbai and Ahmedabad at specific times.
As the T20 World Cup India 2026 finals are approaching, the Western Railway has announced to run superfast special trains between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad, aimed to make the commute easier for the travellers and to meet the travel demand. The Western Railways issued a statement, announcing the introduction of special trains for the much-awaited T20 World Cup.
Vineet Abhishek, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, said that these trains will help cater to the increased demand, especially during the peak travel season.
