The employees of state-run Telangana Road Transport Corporation (RTC) on Tuesday night announced a strike in support of their demands, including merger of the Corporation with government, after talks with a panel of bureaucrats failed.
The RTC Joint Action Committee (JAC) leaders said the strike will begin from April 22 morning.
The committee sought four weeks time for submitting a report to the government on the demands of the employees. The government would respond later, a JAC leader said.
