Authorities on Sunday urged Char Dham pilgrims and tourists to exercise extreme caution during their journey on May 12 and 13 following an ‘orange alert’ for adverse weather conditions.
The alert predicts rain and inclement weather across various parts of Uttarakhand, especially in the high-altitude hilly regions during the 48-hour period.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall in areas across hilly districts.
