The railway tracks damaged by floods in Simaluguri in Assam’s Sivasagar district were restored on Thursday, an NFR statement said.
Northeast Frontier Railway General Manager Chetan Kumar Shrivastava visited the affected sections and carried out a detailed inspection of the tracks, bridges and other infrastructure.
The NFR has successfully restored the railway tracks damaged by recent floods in Simaluguri and adjoining areas in Sivasagar district under the Tinsukia Division, it said.
