Bengaluru commuters are set to face traffic diversions this weekend, with the city police enforcing restrictions in Mahadevapura to facilitate the 18th Midnight Marathon organised by the Rotary Club of Bengaluru and the IT Corridor authorities. The advisory, issued by the Traffic East Division, urges motorists to plan their travel carefully between 3 pm on 6 December and 5 am on 7 December.

The police have announced that movement of all types of vehicles will be restricted on the left-side road from Ginger Hotel Junction near Kundalahalli Metro Station to Kundalahalli Main Road leading to the ITPL Back Gate. Authorities said these measures are essential to ensure smooth conduct of the marathon and to maintain order along the busy EPIP Road and KTPO stretch.

To ease movement around the restricted zones, the police have outlined diversions for different categories of vehicles: For General Traffic At Big Bazaar Junction, motorists must turn left towards Hoodi Turn, then proceed right towards Hope Farm or Channasandra. Vehicles travelling from Graphite India Junction to Vaidehi, ITPL must take a right turn near Ginger Hotel, Kundalahalli Metro Station, and continue on the right-side road till Axis Bank U-turn Junction. A mandatory left is required at Axis Bank U-turn Junction.

Traffic restrictions will remain in force from 3 pm on 6 December 2025 to 5 am on 7 December 2025. The police have appealed for public cooperation to ensure the marathon proceeds without disruption.
