Several adjoining roads, including Bhagwan Mahavir Road, Bawana Road, Kanjhawala Road, Kanjhawala Link Road and Badsha Dahiya Marg, are also expected to be affected. Commuters in Delhi’s Rohini area should brace for traffic restrictions on Sunday, 17 August, as authorities prepare for a special programme in the locality. The Delhi Traffic Police has announced diversions and closures to manage congestion and ensure public safety.

The UER-2 stretch will remain completely closed to traffic during the event. Several adjoining roads, including Bhagwan Mahavir Road, Bawana Road, Kanjhawala Road, Kanjhawala Link Road and Badsha Dahiya Marg, are also expected to be affected.

Residents are advised to take alternative routes such as K.N. Katju Marg and Rohini Jail Marg to reach their destinations. Commercial vehicles will not be allowed to enter roads leading from Ring Road towards Rohini between 6 am and 2 pm on the day.

The Traffic Police has urged the public to plan their journeys in advance and opt for public transport, particularly the Delhi Metro, to avoid delays. Motorists are also requested to follow instructions from traffic personnel and stay updated via official traffic police channels. Authorities have sought the cooperation of residents and commuters to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
