Hyderabad continues to see heavy rain and traffic disruption, unlike Mumbai and Delhi. While no alert is issued for October 13, IMD warns of moderate rain and thunderstorms from October 15–16.
While rain in Mumbai and Delhi has been dull to almost nothing, Telangana’s Hyderabad is still experiencing heavy showers, leading to massive traffic jams, waterlogged streets, and choas. As of now, there is no alert in Hyderabad for today, October 14, but the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a two-day alert on October 15 and 16.
People in South India should get ready for unsettled weather over the next few days. Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms will affect some areas.From 14 to 18 October, Tamil Nadu and Kerala are likely to get heavy rain in isolated places.
Thunderstorms, along with lightning and gusty winds (30–40 km/h), are expected in:Kerala & Mahe Tamil Nadu Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam Rayalaseema Telangana These conditions will continue between 14 and 16 October.
