The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad has forecast rain across the state until Sunday, accompanied by gusty winds and hailstorms. Day and night temperatures, which were above normal, are expected to drop notably, a Telangana Today report said. According to the IMD-Hyderabad, maximum temperatures will see a gradual decline of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius over the next four days. Thunderstorm warnings have been issued for all districts of Telangana. Hyderabad is under a yellow alert until April 5 for thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls.
On Thursday, an orange (high) alert has been issued for Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Medak, and Kamareddy, warning of thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds (40-50 kmph), and hailstorms. Additionally, Nirmal, Jagtial, Peddapalle, J. Bhupalpally, Rajanna Sircilla, and other nearby areas are under a ‘yellow’ alert. Similar orange and yellow alerts have been issued for all districts of Telangana through Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, indicating a prolonged period of thunderstorms and rain across the state.
