IMD weather update- Neutral El Nino-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) conditions are currently prevailing over the equatorial Pacific region, stated the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

 India is expected to experience varied weather conditions across states on Friday, September 19, under the influence of multiple weather systems. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted widespread rain and thunderstorms in parts of East, Central, and Northeast India, while isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall may impact areas in the Himalayan belt, South India, and parts of the West Coast.

An upper air cyclonic circulation currently lies over east Bihar, south Uttar Pradesh, south interior Karnataka. According to the IMD, conditions are likely to become favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some more parts of northwest India and some parts of central India during second half of this week.
