The trend of unsettled weather will persist into early May, with 2 and 3 May likely to bring generally cloudy skies along with the possibility of rain or thunderstorms. Thunderstorm Turmoil: Gusty Winds and Kalbaisakhi Conditions A stormy trend is expected to bring relief on Monday, with heavy rain warnings issued for East Burdwan and West Midnapore districts. Meanwhile, North Bengal’s Darjeeling and North Dinajpur districts are also expected to experience showers. Purulia, Bankura, West Medinipur, West Burdwan, Hooghly, and Jhargram will remain on high alert for thunderstorms with fierce gusts ranging from 60 to 70 kmph. Elsewhere, light to moderate rain, thunder, and lightning, along with gusty winds of up to 50 kmph, are on the cards through Tuesday and Wednesday. North Bengal too will continue to experience unsettled weather, with rain and thunder likely to linger until midweek.
