Mumbai Police Issue Traffic Advisory For MNS’ Gudi Padwa Rally At Shivaji Park On March 30; Check Diversions, No Parking Zones & More

Thousands of MNS supporters from across the state are expected to attend the event, prompting the police to announce traffic restrictions and parking guidelines.

Mumbai: In light of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s (MNS) annual Gudi Padwa rally at Shivaji Park, Dadar, the Mumbai Police have issued a traffic advisory to prevent congestion and ensure security. Thousands of MNS supporters from across the state are expected to attend the event, prompting the police to announce traffic restrictions and parking guidelines. The MNS rally is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, 2025, at Shivaji Park, Dadar (West). The police anticipate heavy vehicular movement on the Western Express Highway (WEH) and Eastern Express Highway (EEH), which could lead to traffic snarls, especially on roads leading to the venue. To manage the situation, the traffic advisory will remain in effect from 2 PM to 12 AM on March 30, 2025.

No-Parking Zones SVS Road (from Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to Yes Bank Junction) The police have declared the following roads as no-parking zones: Keluskar Road (South) and Keluskar Road (North), Dadar MB Raut Road Pandurang Naik Road (Road No. 5) Dadasaheb Rege Road Lt. Dilip Gupte Road (from Shivaji Park Gate No. 4 to Shitaladevi Temple Junction) NC Kelkar Road (from Gadkari Junction to Hanuman Temple Junction), Dadar Traffic Diversions Traffic on the following roads will be controlled during the event: SVS Road: From Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to Yes Bank Junction Alternative Route: Siddhivinayak Junction → SK Bole Road → Agar Bazaar → Portuguese Church → Left turn → Gokhale Road → LJ Road Raja Bade Chowk to Keluskar Road (North), Dadar Alternative Route: LJ Road → Gokhale Road → Steelman Junction → Right turn onto SVS Road Southbound Traffic Diversion: From Pandurang Naik Road Junction to Lt. Dilip Gupte Road Alternative Route: From Raja Bade Junction towards LJ Road Gadkari Chowk to Keluskar Road (South and North), Dadar Alternative Route: Motorists are advised to use MB Raut Road Parking Instructions for MNS Rally Participants The police have designated specific drop-off points and parking areas for vehicles arriving from different regions:

Western and Northern Suburbs: Vehicles from WEH will drop participants near Matunga Railway Station or Ruparel College on Senapati Bapat Road. Parking will be available at Mahim Reti Bandar, India Bulls Finance Center PPL Parking, Kamgar Stadium, and Senapati Bapat Road. Light motor vehicles can park at Kohinoor PPL Parking.

Eastern Suburbs: Vehicles from Thane and Navi Mumbai via EEH will drop participants near Dadar TT Circle. Parking will be available at Five Gardens, Matunga, and RAK 4 Road.

South Mumbai: Vehicles coming via Veer Savarkar Road will drop participants at Ravindra Natya Mandir. Parking will be at India Bulls Finance Center PPL Parking, Appasaheb Marathe Road, and RAK 4 Road. Vehicles using BA Road will drop participants at Dadar TT Circle and proceed to park at Five Gardens or RAK 4 Road.
