Mumbai can expect a largely stable and dry weather pattern through the coming week, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting clear skies, warm afternoons and mild nights for the city. The seven-day outlook indicates no rainfall and no weather warnings, offering a period of calm conditions ideal for outdoor activities, daily commuting and travel.
According to the IMD’s Santacruz observatory, Mumbai recorded a maximum temperature of 33.9°C on Sunday and a minimum of 20.3°C. Day temperatures are expected to stay between 32°C and 34°C, while night temperatures will gradually fall to 16–19°C towards the weekend.
The IMD has issued no warnings for the week ahead, signalling stable atmospheric conditions with minimal disruption expected for residents. The transition from partly cloudy and hazy mornings early in the week to fully clear skies later will contribute to cooler night-time temperatures, especially from Thursday onwards.
Graphs shared by IMD show both daytime and night-time temperatures following a steady pattern, with a marginal dip expected mid-week before rising slightly again by the weekend. By 13 December, the maximum is likely to touch 34°C, the highest in the week’s forecast.
