The cascading flight disruptions, over 1000 cancellations and delays nationwide, left terminals packed and passengers stranded with little clarity, pushing the DGCA to step in with a temporary relaxation of crew-duty rules for IndiGo until 10 February 2026. Cancellations from Delhi Airport continued until midnight, compounding distress for travellers who complained of long waits, lack of updates, and inadequate assistance.
