The Railway police has decided to tighten security arrangements on trains and railway stations to ensure passenger safety during the Onam celebrations.
The security is being tightened with the aim of ‘Shubha Yatra Suraksha Yatra’, an official release said.
As part of this, the Railway Police will conduct joint inspections with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) from August 17 to 30.
