Emergency medical services and private businesses will remain unaffected, and unions have stated that roads will not be blocked. Rallies are planned at district headquarters and Chandigarh.
CM Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to meet union leaders in Jalandhar to address their demands. If no resolution is reached, unions have warned of further agitation.
