Haryana Weather Update: There will be a change in the weather in Haryana from Friday. There is a possibility of hailstorm in seven districts Panchkula, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, Sirsa, Fatehabad and Jind and rain in the remaining districts. There is a possibility of rain for two days along with wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Haryana Agricultural University, said that the weather in Haryana is generally likely to remain changeable till May 1. During this period, due to the partial effect of Western Disturbance, during the night of 26th April to 27th April, there was cloudiness and thundershowers in most of the areas along with drizzle or light rain at some places in the districts of North and South Haryana, but in the Western Disturbance.

Brokers say that the agency to which the government has given the tender for loading from mandis and unloading from warehouses is not doing its job properly. Not only this, the situation has become worse due to lack of sufficient labour. Bajrang Garg, provincial president of the trade body and former chairman of CONFED, said that due to slow lifting, lakhs of quintals of wheat of farmers has got spoiled due to rains. The government should put pressure on the contractors to get the grains lifted immediately.

Earthquake tremors were felt in Sirsa at around 6.10 pm on Thursday. The center remained Dabwali. Its intensity was recorded at 3.2 on the reactor scale. There is no report of damage. Due to Dabwali being the centre, earth tremors were also felt in Abohar, Bathinda and Mansa areas of Punjab and Shri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh of Rajasthan.
